Golf courses in Turkey
Created by the hands of five-time Open champion Peter Thomson, host of the Turkish Airlines Open several times, Carya draws inspiration from the classic heather fields of the Surrey and Berkshire sandbelt. More than a million sprigs of heather were imported to create a wonderfully scenic field through pine forests and with this you can enjoy golf breaks turkey. The greens also deserve a special mention – these are some of the best greens you’ll ever play on!
Cornelia Golf Club, Faldo King Course
Designed by six-time major tournament winner Sir Nick Faldo, three of the nine loops present very different challenges – among the pine forests and sandy ridges of Cornelia you can find many great golf courses. With its challenging turns and sparkling lakes, the course is a strategic masterpiece that is highly prized in the gem of Belek golf. To keep your game in perfect condition, there are excellent practice facilities.

Great time for a golf holiday in Turkey
The five months from May to September are the best time to plan a golf holiday in Turkey. The weather may be hotter for northern Europeans, but it’s not unpleasant. In winter, it is better to avoid the cold weather and rainfall. Although most clubs offer golf all year round, it is better to book your golf holiday during the nicer months.
May and June in particular have the most beautiful weather and are perfect for spending a few hours outdoors.Be sure to book your golf packages in advance, as most golf clubs require pre-booking.
