Hello everyone to another web journal of firmabs and I am here to write about the gear that you wear when you’re inside the gym working out so you might think it’s, all the same, it’s not really a big deal but it really is I’m going to talk to you about two things. First I will emphasize tops and later on, I will express my views about the bottom. The whole discussion will be purely based on gym clothes for women.
(1) TOPS
The first thing I’m going to start off talking about is tops.
Importance of Moisture-wicking Tops
This is basic ladies’ talk. It’s dry sitting and it’s funny. I can’t instruct it what that might mean to you is its moisture-wicking. So, it really absorbs the moisture away from your body and allows your body to breathe, and allows the shirt to breathe as well with the con is of not wearing something that moisture-wicking away is if you wear 100% cotton it tends to seal the heat and the entire time you’re working out which will make you hot overheat and it actually can also make you retain more sweat while you’re working out that’s not a good thing.
It’ll also make your gym clothes heavier while you’re working out because of the weight of the fabric whenever it gets wet so that’s something to think about their depending on if you tend to sweat a lot and if you work out you probably think about wearing a sleeve the reason I say that is because the more your body sweats if you don’t have a sleeve and you’re running you can catch those burns underneath your arm from your skin running together. So, it’s really a personal preference but really make sure that you have something that’s moisture-wicking on your top.
Sports Bra
This one is also special for the ladies and that is your foundations or your sports bra. So, what I have right here is a basic sports bra that is high impact and for those of you who aren’t aware sports bras come in three categories: low, medium, and high impacts.
Now I hate to tell you this ladies but the low impact is always going to be the cuter one nice and strappy and really fun that’s really made for yoga or something that’s almost no impact anything that you’re going to do inside this studio is going to be a high impact workout, whether you’re walking you’re on the bike or on the elliptical or you’re running on the treadmill you want to have maximum support.
So, what you’re really looking for is something that’s got six straps and it’s got a nice wide back and a lot of elastic around the base to provide you maximum support while you’re working out inside of the gym, you should use womens gym leggings.
(2) BOTTOMS
The next thing we’re going to talk about is bottoms and two categories that we really like to use for bottoms. We do see a lot of folks that like to work out in basketball, squash words tend to be long which the guys love but they also get very heavy while you’re working out so we want to stick with gym clothesthat are lightweight fabric and again moisture wicking that will keep this fly away from you.
So, there are some subtle differences between training and running apparel.
Ladies Running Shorts
Let’s start with a basic running short, it has your spandex shorts underneath. If you like to run and you don’t want to feel your legs rubbing together this is a perfect garment to have in your work and your workout wardrobe because it’ll really help you quite a bit.
All running products will have this great little zipper somewhere on it or a pocket inside and that’s what you can put a key or maybe your lip protector or whatever you may need in your pocket. It will have subtle ways to give off reflective material gym clothes in case you’re running at night or if you’re out at night swoosh will reflect in the dark so that’s one of the reasons you can tell the difference between a basic running moment and a cross-training Norman.
Training Capri
This is super lightweight moisture-wicking you’re going to see not a lot of thickness compared to the running shorts. It’s really going to be thin at the top, it’s a lightweight fabric. These gymclothes are made for specific gym use. The reason why we don’t put zippers and stuff like that is that when you’re working out if you’re laying down on your back doing sit-ups or anything like that nobody wants to fill that zipper rubbing against your back. When you’re on the floor doing that kind of stuff but these are most likely materials to the compression is also very thick. So, it’s going to give you a lot of reinforcement when you work out. It really protects your muscles and keeps you warm.
